Andy and Lisa got married on 14th February 2004 at Cheadle Hulme Methodist Church. (where they met!)
The minister was Rev Dave Martin. Dan Corcoran played the music on the organ and was complimented by the excellent Louise Davis who sang beautifully throughout the service. Heather, Steve and Stephie Helmes did the readings.
Lisa, as customary, arrived a few minutes late. Followed by the bridesmaids Gez and Lai. Abby was suppose to be slightly ahead of Lisa, but decided to run down the aisle to see her mummy.
The service went very smoothly until Lisa (having had 2 glasses of champagne beforehand) started to giggle as she was saying her vows. After 3 attempts, she managed to complete her vows, Andy was very relieved.
After the ceremony, there was some refreshments served at the church hall. Many thanks to Phil, Jacqui Sarbutts and some of the members from church who helped with the refreshments. All the guests had a good laugh about Lisa's giggle fit and catching up with people they have not seen for ages.
Everyone moved on to Ladybridge Residential Club. Andy and Lisa went off in a white Morgan driven by family friend Neal.
Unfortunately, due to the weather, the photographs had to be taken indoors. Alan Towse had already set up the lighting. The funniest part was trying to get the 2 group photos of Lisa's family and then the friends all on the stage.
In the evening, there was a barn dance. The band was really good. Everyone had a good time.
